On Saturday night, October 25th, we had our third annual fall
fundraiser - "The Mane Event - Taking the Reins".
"Thank you to all who came and participated" is a statement
that cannot begin to express how grateful everyone at Field of
Dreams feels. We had 240 people participate in an evening
consisting of a champagne fountain, appetizers, dinner and great
silent and live auction items.
We had something for everyone - over 300 items to bid on -
trips, weekend stays, dinners, pictures, jewelry, riding lessons,
sports tickets, a wine collection, gift certificates and many
one-of-a kind items.
Thanks to the generosity of our participants, we raised
$38,000 to fund taking care of the horses that are currently
at Field of Dreams and more in the future.
Many who could not attend sent donations.
Thank you to everyone who donated items, their services and
time to make our event a success. Without your contributions
and efforts, this could not have been possible.
On behalf of the horses, thank you for helping Field of Dreams
continue their commitment to help their equine "guests" in need.
