Meet Izek!
As the doors to the trailer opened we got our first glimpse of the frightened little pony
whose life had been filled with terror. He was backed into the corner, eyes filled with
fear, visibly afraid of people, and completely unwilling to be touched. After an hour,
using calming voices and gentle persuasion, we encouraged him to step off the trailer
and into his new life filled with love, support and guidance.
It has taken many, many months of quiet interactions, constant encouragement and
lots and lots of love, but Izek now knows that his future is filled only with happiness
and hope. He loves the attention he receives daily and is eager to socialize with
everyone who enters the barn.
